CONTRACT LENGTH:
CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently(e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting the country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
SCI is seeking a senior Information Management Officer (IMO) to join the Humanitarian Program Cycle team to the Southern Turkey Education Cluster (EC). This position supports the response in Northwest Syria (NWS). The senior IMO will be responsible for improving the timeliness and comprehensiveness of 4Ws reporting representing the EC in the Syria/Turkey Information Management and Assessment (STIMA)working group providing IM-related input for the Syria Cross Border Humanitarian Fund (SCHF) and Humanitarian Program Cycle (HPC) and suggesting and executing measures to improve the collection analysis dissemination and management of other information relevant to the EC.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
On behalf of Save the Children the purpose of this post is to manage the collection analysis and sharing of information that allowsclusterLead Agency Partners and theWOS Coordinators to make informed evidence-based strategic decisions; and to enable the EC to perform its core functions.

Role requires contacts with multiple partners and stakeholders from NGOs and local CSOs to gather validate and analyse data.

University degree inin relevant discipline (computer science engineering mathematics statistics economics data science education research or other relevant fieldor evidence of education data management and analysis experience
