Description

This position focuses on developing a Care Store stocked with donations and a resource bank (e.g. community resources donations in-kind services) to be used by Just Care program coaches developing treatment goals for parents. The Community Access Navigator is the face of the Just Care program in the community. This role is key to the success of the program and is responsible for securing donations services and resources for families as part of the reinforcement system provided within Just Care. A strongCommunity Access Navigator communicates often with the clinical team to learn about their caseloads resource needs interests and preferred items for reinforcements. The Community Access Navigator is the heart of the Just Care team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with coursework appropriate to the position and at least 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience appropriate to the position.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable interacting with a broad range of personalities and individuals with varying levels of functioning
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must feel comfortable cold calling or making contacts with community members and openly discussing the general population that is served by this project
  • Must feel comfortable interacting with social media and technology to develop creative content
  • Must be able to work in team environment requiring participatory decision-making/cooperative interactions among employees.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision and to make a significant level of interpretive judgment; make independent decisions or choose between existing methods and procedures.
  • Must have excellent prioritizing tasks and be able to balance work requests
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding matters of significance.
  • Flexibility is required in regard to work schedule and time.
