Job Description

Please note: This is an in-person role located in Chicago. We are not considering remote candidates for this position.

We are seeking a highly motivated AI/LLM Automation Intern for Fall 2025 to join our Business Operations team. This role will focus on identifying developing and implementing AI-powered solutions to automate manual workflows across the firm. This role will work closely with a dedicated Business Operations team member to identify high-impact automation opportunities and rapidly prototype solutions that enhance productivity & operational efficiency.

Technical Experience

  • Strong programming proficiency in Python with experience in AI/ML libraries
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI Anthropic Google Gemini etc) and prompt engineering
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and workflow orchestration tools
  • Experience with data processing API integration and web scraping

Candidate Qualities

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Physics or related quantitative field
  • Previous internship or project experience in AI/LLM companies or financial services/fintech
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
