SCOT Long term Forecasting team is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager (Tech) to lead inventory planning charter owning Product roadmap and system improvements to automate the forecasting workflow and drive long term free cash flow opportunities.
As a PM you will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for the products we own and realizing that vision by working closely with software development leaders research scientists and multiple partner teams across Retail FBA and Operations. In this role from Day 1 you will be given ownership of large technical products; the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact on Amazons fulfillment capacity and build decisions at a global scale.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills coupled with business judgement and customer obsession. She/he will communicate effectively across teams and levels while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. The ideal candidate will be self-directed with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team. She/he will also be responsible for establishing creative strategies to track and identify impact of our initiatives. This is a high visibility role that requires partnering with worldwide Retail FBA operations finance and other teams across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities Build product roadmap(s) to Forecast inventory at scale for WW. Own requirement gathering product vision development launch roadmap prioritization and post-launch support
Partner with retail/FBA/business/operations teams to ensure adoption of our products and measure the effectiveness of our systems
Create and analyze performance metrics to inform decision making and new feature additions
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional peers creating a collaborative culture
- Bachelors degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau Qlikview QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
