The Principal ISV Account Manager is responsible for creating and executing the account strategy and leading the extended team so the customer achieves its growth targets thereby AWS achieving increased levels of revenue and service growth. It is critical that the Principal ISV Account Manager has an extensive track record of building and nurturing senior level relationships with complex customers has a hands-on approach to developing new opportunities public cloud technical acumen has led a large team of extended resources and is familiar with GTM partnerships.

The Principal ISV Account Manager is responsible for teaming with all aspects of the customers organization. This includes C-level executives engineering IT/operations partner org and sales.
The skills required to build relationships across an account include creative systems thinking visioning and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address customers needs.
The Principal ISV Account Manager is responsible for selling at the most senior level (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and AWS service implementation.
The Principal ISV Account Manager works collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives Partner Support Solution Architect) to support customer interests and will understand how to strongly advocate for customer and balance that with AWS business needs. This includes dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.
Strategic planning/execution is critical as well as ability to see around corners managing complex situations in a matrixed organization with key stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in managing global initiatives at speed with executive level presence and communications.

- 7 years of technology related sales business development or equivalent experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives IT and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS SaaS PaaS)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
