About the role

As the Program Officer Waste Services youll play a key role in supporting the delivery of waste management and circular economy initiatives across the City of Hobart. Working closely with the Program Manager Waste and Circular Economy youll help drive strategic goals and contribute to the Citys transition toward more sustainable waste practices.

In this dynamic role you will:

  • Support compliance auditing and reporting activities for waste services and operations
  • Coordinate policies procedures and performance measures aligned with the Citys Waste Strategy.
  • Manage consultants contractors and stakeholders across a range of waste-related projects.
  • Assist in delivering capital and maintenance programs and contribute to circular economy initiatives
  • Help ensure safe efficient and customer-focused waste and resource recovery services.
