About us
NLS is NSWs number-one provider of sports coaches for schools clubs OSHC and Councils.
We have positions all over Brisbane & surrounding suburbs.
We are looking for Martial Arts coaches to join our team in several different forms such as Jiu-Jitsu Judo Karate Taekwondo Boxing Boxercise Self Defence etc.
All of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. Coaching experience isnt necessary (although it is preferred) but a good knowledge and playing experience of the sport is required.
Schedule
We have morning (6.30AM - 9AM) in-school time (9AM - 3PM) and after-school (3PM - 5PM) positions available. Both midweek and weekend work are available and we also have programs across the school holidays.

- Martial Arts coaching / competing experience
- Working with ChildrenCheck - WWCC (Paid) *relevant to state or territory
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid CPR Training (Preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Martial Arts Coaching
- Attend and conduct alltraining sessions
- Being Reliable and Organised
- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships & communicate clearly & effectively with students staff administrators and at times parents / guardians
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
- Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diversecommunity
