We are hiring LPNs to care for a male client with an ALS diagnosis located in Hudson - a successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 year recent hands on experience with ventilators (in a home environment) total trach care medication administration ambulation and total care.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the DON and the physicians plan of care and orders.
- Follow physicians orders and ensure compliance with the plan of care.
- Accurately report and record the patients condition and care including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities always adhering to Florida chapter 464 - Nurse Practice Act
- Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event incident e.g. accident injury or significant change in the patients condition
Qualifications
- Current LPN license allowing you to work in Florida
- Recent patient hands on care with ventilator patients in a home environment
- Recent experience with total trach care and GT
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Meet all of AHCAs requirements for home health agency employment
