Supervises the staff by defining and establishing schedules setting priorities providing support/direction and dealing with administrative issues as needed. Establishes key metrics to measure and analyze performance; monitors the progress of established goals and objectives; optimizes operational and service efficiencies.
Defines immediate and long term goals priorities and operational plan to ensure team goals are aligned with the goals and priorities of the organization.
Decisions are guided by policies procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager.
Identifies required resources; trains schedules and monitors resources; may participate in hiring process; accountable for efficient use of resources. Oversees projects and manages project resources.

Knowledge:
* Thorough working knowledge of most infrastructure technologies and in-house developed applications utilized in the enterprise.
* Thorough working knowledge of service offerings customer service principles and processes.
*Procurement contract knowledge relating to computer technologies
Skill:

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.

* Balance prioritize and organize multiple tasks.

* Ability to coach and develop employees including continuous improvement practices and principles
Bachelors degree plus 3 or more years of experience in related discipline (or equivalent experience).
ITIL/ITSM Certifications.
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.11).
All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
