The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Resources & Scientific Services Manager to lead the delivery of scientific services and operational support at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI). This senior-level position plays a key role in enabling world-class research by managing critical functions across infrastructure equipment safety and compliance. As the Institutes Safety Officer and a core member of the Office of the Director you will ensure ARMI operates in a safe efficient and compliant environment that supports both research and teaching activities.
In this role you will oversee a range of complex responsibilities including OHS risk management regulatory compliance laboratory and infrastructure planning equipment maintenance building refurbishments and relocations. You will coordinate shared equipment and infrastructure across ARMI working closely with the Biomedical Discovery Institute (BDI) Infrastructure team to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with University policies and researcher needs. You will also manage building access staff and student inductions and support the procurement and upkeep of essential resources.
Reporting to the ARMI Institute Manager you will supervise a small team and hold delegated financial authority to manage operational budgets. This is an excellent opportunity for a resourceful safety-focused professional to play a leading role in shaping and sustaining the infrastructure that powers regenerative medicine research at one of Australias premier institutes.
