Position Overview:
The Sr. Manager of Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) at Freddie Mac is a critical leadership role responsible for safeguarding the organizations information assets. The successful candidate will lead a team of cyber security professionals in monitoring detecting and responding to cyber threats to protect the integrity confidentiality and availability of Freddie Macs data and systems.
Our Impact:
As the leader of the cyber security operations center you will be part of the Cyber operations and intelligence Team at Freddie Mac and will help fulfill the Information Security departments vision of reducing information risk by ensuring and enhancing the Confidentiality Availability and Integrity of Information systems at Freddie Mac.
Your Impact:
Manage a 24/7 team including a tier 1 outsourced partner and tier 2 internal team of analysts.
Continuous process improvement and automation
Always start from a view of automating as much of the overall process as possible.
On a continuous basis review task increase efficiency and mark tasks for automation/transfer to delivery team.
Utilize and drive project milestones through Jira to ensure clear communication/expectations with leadership and stakeholder.
Develop monitor and improve operational response metrics.
Qualifications:
10 years in information security including experience as a CSOC analyst
4-6 years managing a professional security operations center
Experience and understanding of SEIM configuration and management
Experience using automation

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $156000 - $234000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Required Experience:
