Job Description
Total Safety is looking for a Gate Guard Supervisor to join their safety conscious team! The Gate Guard Supervisors main functions are monitoring and authorizing the entrance and departure of employees visitors and other persons to maintain security of premises. Under direct supervision relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job related tasks and duties expressed implied or otherwise assigned by the Manager Division/District that all tasks are managed in accordance with the Customers requirements and the Companys programs policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality timely services. In addition to performing the essential job functions of a Gate Guard the Lead-Gate Guard will schedule and assign work supervise work performance and activity of guards and other assigned duties.

Essential Duties:
Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
Provides consistent access control through verification of guest and employee credentials.
Provides excellent customer service.
Greeting guests and employees in a cheerful welcoming manner.
Remains flexible as the environment changes and is ready to take on other duties as assigned.
Monitoring closed circuit systems and alarms
Calls police or fire departments in cases of emergency such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Answers alarms at request of Company Man.
Stations themselves at the entrance of the site.
Advises individuals of site requirements.
Warns persons of rule infractions or violationsPerforms all other duties assigned.
Skills and Experience:
Must possess a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Detail oriented and thorough in completing work tasks.
Working Environment:
Industrial setting refinery petrochemical etc. Indoor/Outdoor working environment to include extreme heat extreme cold noise and sun exposure.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
