Job Description

All bargaining unit and exempt new hires to ODOT must serve a one year probationary period.
This position is overtime exempt based on FLSA Standards.
If this position is filled internally the wage rate will be determined in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicants prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
Transportation Construction Manager District 6- PN
What you will do:
- Administer all types of construction projects including paving bridge work and major interchange enhancements
- Solve problems and resolve issues to ensure projects meet ODOTs high standards
- Work with a team of dedicated individuals who all work with a single goal to achieve high quality projects built on time that serve the traveling public

24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in construction management or construction engineering technology & related safety practices; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles & techniques; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in reading survey &/or construction plans; valid drivers license.
-Completion of undergraduate core program in Construction Management or Construction Engineering Technology; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles & techniques; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in reading survey &/or construction plans; valid drivers license.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
