Instructional Technologist (m/f/d)
(as soon as possible 2-years-limited contract with a chance of extension full-time 38.5h)
About the job:
This role coordinates the maintenance of the edtech framework and develops instructional material in its use with instructional guides and self-paced training materials. The instructional technologist will provide first-level technical support for faculty and students who are using the Learning Management System (LMS) and other educational technology tools. In addition this role works with learning designers to develop online training for other units and supports the digitalization efforts through the development of process documentation and instructional guides.
Your responsibilities:
Develop training for faculty staff and students based on requests of Work Council for appropriate training
write instructional and reference guides and FAQs
collaborate with learning designers to build online training.
Develop low-code/no-code applications in Microsoft to transfer digitalization solutions
Write reports in PowerBI with accompanying documentation
Provide technical support for education technology.
Collaborate with Constructor Tech or other edtech support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
Collaborate with digitalization specialist by documenting processes participating in problem solving challenges to advancement of digitalization efforts and writing instructional guidance
Your Profile:
A bachelors degree in a technically-oriented discipline
Experience in technical writing
Experience offering customer/client services and instructional guidance
Experience using design/illustration software preferred
First experience in Project Management would be an advantage
Teamwork
Advanced Communication Skills with emphasis on excellent writing skills
Application of edtech
Expertise in graphic design and publishing software
