Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) Full Time 8-Hour Days
Location: Plano TX 75093
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week Monday to Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate Range: $11/hr. $45/hr. (Hourly)
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) to join our radiology department in Plano TX. Under the supervision of a Radiologist the Mammography Technologist performs advanced breast imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients to aid in the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform high-quality mammographic procedures per physician orders and department standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Accurately follow protocol while positioning patients and operating mammography equipment.
- Maintain equipment and exam rooms in a clean and functioning condition.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists nurses and technologists across the department.
- Follow safety protocols including radiation safety and infection control.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Licenses/Certifications:
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-M (Mammography)
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be AHA-approved; required within 30 days of hire
- All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Holiday Pay applies to: New Years Eve New Years Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (from 6:45 AM on the holiday to 6:44 AM the following day)
