Why your Role Matters:
As a Travel Risk Assessment Officer at UNSW you play a vital role in protecting the safety and wellbeing of our staff and Higher Degree Research (HDR) students when undertaking university-supported travel. Your assessments directly influence whether travel proceeds ensuring all journeys are aligned with UNSWs commitment to risk management safety and duty of care. By critically evaluating travel requests and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders you help the University maintain its global engagement while safeguarding people research and institutional integrity. Your work supports informed decision-making at the highest levels and contributes to a culture of proactive risk management across UNSW.
