The Position: Utility Arborist (CUA)
Type: Full-time
Reports To: General Foreperson

- Pay: $40 - $45 per hour based on experience certifications and commitment to on-going development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Trim prune and remove trees or branches that pose a risk to utility infrastructure
- Use industry-standard techniques to safely remove trees without causing damage
- Operate equipment such as chainsaws pole saws aerial lifts chipper trucks and cranes
- Train and supervise crew members in safe practices around high-voltage equipment
- Maintain accurate records of vegetation management activities
- Document completed work for utility or regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and protect nearby habitats
- Perform other duties as required
Experience and Knowledge Expectations:
- Certified Utility Arborist (CUA).
- Valid Class 5 drivers license with air endorsement or willingness to obtain.
- Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Current First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.
