Media Arts Assistant- send resume to Summary:The Media Arts Assistant Director will work under the supervision of the Media Arts Directorto provide and expand media arts services to the students of the Focus Schools and theColumbus of Interest: Four-day work week: Focus is open Monday through Thursday; Stable successful school environment with over 12 years of successful academicofferings Professional effective friendly staff and administration Administrative staff members are former teachers. Full-time with excellent retirement benefits (SERS) health dental life and Overview:The assistant Media Arts Director will be responsible for the operations of Media Arts Lab Areasas well as being involved in all Media Arts planning and programming. These are programsdeveloped within eSchool Consultants and will serve Focus Learning Academy Southeast FocusLearning Academy Southwest and Focus North High School. The candidates primaryresponsibilities will be at Focus Learning Academy Southeasts Audio/Music Recording Studio(Refugee Studios) with assistance as needed requested and assigned by the Media Arts Directorat Focus Learning Academy Southwest and Focus North High assistant Media Arts Director will work in collaboration with and under the supervisionof the Media Arts Director to plan and maintain work systems procedures and policies thatenable and encourage optimum performance and learning for all students involved withprograms conducted within the Media Arts assistant Media Arts Director will assist in the management of all Media Arts programswhich will be developed to guide students through needed programs to match graduationrequirements as defined by the State of Ohio eSchool Consultants Focus Learning AcademiesSoutheast and Southwest and Focus North High School. Additionally the Media Arts Departmentworks closely with the Career and Technical Education department (CTE) as well as InformationTechnology (IT) to collaborate on cross-program assistant Media Arts Director will assist in creating designs for our in-house screen printingbusiness and with production for our printing services as needed. This include screen-printedapparel and large-format Requirements:The desired candidate should possess the following skill-sets for strong consideration for thisposition: Advanced understanding of Audio/Music recording mixing and mastering. Proficient in Adobe Suite of software tools within both a Mac and PC environment. Photography and Video editing experience preferred but not required. A healthy attitudeand eagerness to learn is strongly encouraged. Willingness to assist with the departments continued growth and evolution Candidate should be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver and be able toprovide evidence of bothSalary and Benefits:This position provides a competitive salary as well as health care benefits pension (SERS) andaccrued paid vacation time in exchange for a 40-hour workweek schedule.
