Supervises activities and behaviorsto ensure a positive safe environment for students to eat and enjoy recess Duties and Responsibilities:1. Supervises students at lunchtime and recess breaks. Circulates among students and assist them helping topreserve order and safeguard school property.2. Monitors the behavior of students and takes appropriate action to quell disruption and/or inappropriate behaviorin accordance with school policies. Enables students to maintain a harmonious atmosphere by encouragingpeaceful resolution of conflicts.3. Assumes responsibility for play equipment and organizes group games and activities.4. Directs movement of groups to and from playground lunchroom and classrooms in a safe and organizedmanner.5. Assists students in lunchroom cleanup.6. Recommends measures for improving cafeteria services to Nutritional Services Director and/or Principal.7. Communicates with school personnel to ensure the safety of students during lunch and recess throughcollaborative Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising students during lunch and recess breaks and is directlyresponsible for the safety and well-being of assigned students.
