Location of work: Edmonton Alberta
- Drive in and drive out; Edmonton and surrounding area applicants will be considered due to location of the project.
- Shift based position working five days on and two days off working 10-12 hours per day.
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
- First phase of completion: October 2025.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Able to take the lead during pile installation and work closely with the drill rig and loader operators to ensure accurate placement and alignment of various forms of piles including sub-segmental casing.
- Perform general labourer type tasks including equipment spotting and upkeep along with site housekeeping.
- Ability to read and understand engineered drawing sets and apply best practices in the field.
- You are a team player with a strong safety record who takes pride in their work and commits to daily safety toolbox talks worksite inspections and ongoing hazard assessments.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in the field with input from supervision while communicating effectively with other members of the team.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years previous experience as a Piling Swamper who has been exposed to Soilmec Bauer and Liebherr foundations drill rigs.
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills by supervising others efficiently while coordinating tasks managing rig setup and maintenance all while maintaining quality and safe work practices.
- Successfully completes a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- CSTS 2020 and a basic rigging certification would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
