Hilton Columbus Downtown is on the lookout for a Banquet Coordinator to join their team due to a recent promotion! This role offers a fantastic chance to be part of one of downtowns largest hotels. As a Banquet Coordinator youll play a crucial role in supporting the front and back of house banquet teams with administrative tasks.
This role is an hourly based position with the schedule of Monday - Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm
What will I be doing
As our Banquets Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the banquet management team as well as the culinary management team.
As a Team Member your essential functions in this role include such things as:
- To organize plan and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals.
- Timely communication to internal clients via telephone email written documents or in person.
- Manage the BEO books for both banquet and culinary teams by completing Daily change logs distros and weekly Batch.
- Assist in managing the culinary teams BEO walls
- Creating food labels for events. Consulting with the culinary team when necessary to update dietary items. Save in appropriate files print and distribute to appropriate events.
- Assist with creating Captains Reports
- Assist with entering banquet checks into POS
- Assist with entering banquet schedule into Unifocus
- Other duties as necessary based on business needs
