Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4) to join our BCA Supply Chain Secondary Structures team in Auburn WA.

As a procurement agent you will provide contracting knowledge negotiate and carry out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators and negotiating cost recoveries engineering changes and contract extensions. In this role you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Negotiate interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.
• Provide oversight and contract management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance.
• Integrate program customer product and in-service strategies into negotiation and contracting strategies.
• Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities inclusive of Value Engineering and integrate results into contracting strategies.
• Proactively communicate with the leadership team peers and customers. This may include the preparation and presentation of the business vision supplier strategies program/project status etc.
• Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers stakeholders and peers.
• Conducts risk issues and opportunities management.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 5 years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
• 5 years of experience developing proposals or contracts
• 5 years of experience in Sourcing Procurement and/or Supplier Management
• 5 years of experience drafting negotiating and executing highly complex contracts and subcontracts
• 5 years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
• 5 years of experience demonstrating exceptional business analytical and problem-solving skills
• 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office products
• 5 years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
