Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Mistequa Casino Hotel is in the business of serving the many guests that visit our facilities every day of the year. We pride ourselves on providing excellent entertainment hospitality and comfort. Our Players Club Representatives have unique responsibility of promoting the many benefits of the Mistequa Players Club membership. They also serve as the information desk for all guests. We are currently looking for a people-person with an outgoing personality to serve as a full-time Players Club Representative.
The Representative will be proactive at securing new sign-ups to the Players Club and will work with the Players Club Supervisor in meeting all casino promotion event goals. The Players Club Representative will carry a professional and positive attitude with fellow team members and guests. Marketing department cross-training is a priority for our teams success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duty of the Players Club Representative is to welcome visitors to the Mistequa Casino. Other duties include:
- Explain in detail the benefits of being a member of the Players Club to secure new sign-ups. This will require a working knowledge of the Players Club benefits and Players Club point system.
- Assist current Players Club members with card replacement updates on events and answer questions about Mistequa services.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the database system to perform duties using the player tracking system and ensure that all data entered is accurate and complete.
- Responsible for obtaining knowledge of all casino programs promotions special events and all elements of casino games to share with guests. This information changes on a regular basis.
- Must be comfortable using the overhead speaker system to make announcements to promote all marketing events promotions and other announcements as needed.
- Will assist Players Club Supervisor and Marketing Manager with special projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean and clear workstation.
- Responsible for stocking all promotional items and being familiar with the inventory.
- Assist in maintaining floor security by notifying Management and Security of suspicious activity.
The right person for this position has an above average capability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members guests and outside contacts either verbally written or electronically. Above average attendance is a must.
This job requires that the employee be able to sit stand and walk throughout their shift. They may be required to lift up to 20 lbs. The environment of the casino can be moderate to very loud and busy.
Mistequa Casino is open 365 days per year with hours ranging from 7:00 AM - 2:00 AM (depending on the day of the week). Players Club Representatives are required to work these shifts.
Benefits and Pay
Mistequa Casino Hotel offers excellent benefits. The starting pay for this position is $16.66 per hour plus tips. Benefits include Paid Time Off (PTO) medical vision dental and life insurance 401K and many employee discounts and perks. The position requires working in person.
Selected candidates must be able to obtain a gaming license that includes a background check and UA testing (not THC). This requires that the employee be at least 18 years of age and have an up-to-date ID and social security card.
