Youll be someone whos organised detail-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You may not have a scientific background but youre eager to learn not afraid of hands-on tasks and confident communicating across different teams. Youll be comfortable working with both systems and physical samples and enjoy being part of a process that supports accurate testing and delivery for global clients.
- Required skills and experience:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office and confident using databases
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Willing to be hands-on involving Manual Handling
- Reliable professional and detail-oriented
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Sample Coordinator youll be a vital link between clients operational teams and the laboratory. Youll manage incoming samples register and validate testing requirements and ensure everything is tracked and processed correctly in our Laboratory Information Management System. Youll help keep operations running smoothly ensuring no sample is missed and results are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Activities:
- Receive and register all incoming lab samples
- Log testing requirements accurately in the LIMS
- Liaise with clients and lab staff to confirm correct testing setups
- Maintain and update customer details in the system
- Oversee and communicate quarantine sample logs
- Support general housekeeping and organisation of the sample reception area
- Follow all Intertek HSE and Quality Management procedures
