Job Description

NDT Quality Test Specialist (Non-Destructive Test)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the EDC Quality 747/767/777 team based in Everett WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards.
  • Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment.
  • Analyzes routine test inspection or statistical data to determine product acceptance and processes conformity.
  • Assists with standard corrective action recommendations.
  • Documents and communicates standard test analysis or measurement results.
  • Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
  • Ability to work variable shifts overtime and occasional weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and fit through a 10X18 oval opening.
  • Ability to provide training records and work history for NDT disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Recently held in the last 12 months NDT Level 2 certifications in compliance with NAS410 for Ultrasonic and/or Eddy Current and/or Radiography.
  • 1 years experience with aerospace Non-Destructive Testing.
  • Experience performing Non-Destructive Testing on composite repairs (manual and/or C-Scan).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
