MORSE Graduate - What the Role Involves
This Academic Mentor role focuses on targeted subject-based support:

  • Delivering one-to-one and small group academic mentoring in Maths and related subjects
  • Designing and implementing intervention programmes to support student progress
  • Tracking and monitoring pupil progress to inform teaching strategies
  • Assisting in classroom behaviour management and pupil engagement
  • Supporting planning and assessment activities under teacher guidance
  • Developing skills towards formal teaching pathways and leadership opportunities

MORSE Graduate - What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university and possess relevant child-centred experience. Schools seek proactive compassionate and committed individuals with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop within an educational setting. Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Salary and Contract Info

  • Academic Mentor roles: 450530 per week pro rata to term time only
  • Contract: Full-time long-term (SeptemberJuly) term-time only
  • Potential for future teacher training or contract extensions following a successful placement
