Job Description
Job Title: Fitter/Welder
Pay Rate: $24.50/hr
Shift: Weekend Shift Friday through Sunday 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Work 36 hours get paid for 40)
Overtime: Available during the week with supervisor approval
Location: Tulsa OK
Job Type: Welding Temp to Hire
Weld Test: 1G Metalcore MIG
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of welding experience
- 3 years of experience in heavy manufacturing
Job Description
We are seeking qualified MIG/Fitter Welders for a company that assembles and welds pole sections. The ideal candidate is experienced detail-oriented and capable of producing quality work in a manufacturing setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use welding measuring tools such as squares levels and tape measures
- Plan layout assembly and welding procedures using fabrication equipment
- Bolt clamp and tack-weld parts in position for welding
- Set up and operate Arc Gas-Shielded Arc or Gas Welding equipment
- Assemble parts by bolting as needed
- Repair products using dismantling reshaping and reassembly methods
- Use fabrication machines such as plate rolling cutting torches etc.
- Clean poles and welds per job specifications
- Maintain and be responsible for tools and equipment provided
- Follow state/federal laws ISO procedures safety and environmental regulations
Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
