Job Description
A leading construction firm is seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) activities on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning execution and delivery of MEP systems in line with project specifications deadlines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all MEP site activities with subcontractors consultants and internal project teams.
Review MEP drawings materials and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
Ensure timely installation and commissioning of MEP systems as per project timelines.
Monitor the progress and quality of work ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions during the construction phase.
Attend and lead site coordination meetings with clients consultants and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on MEP progress challenges and resolutions.
Liaise with procurement and planning departments to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
Assist in inspections testing and final handover of MEP systems.
Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth integration of services.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in MEP coordination in large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical and fire protection systems.
Experience with local regulations codes and authority approval processes in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD Revit MS Office and project management tools.
Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Currently available in Saudi Arabia or with transferrable Iqama is a plus.
