Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Site Inspection Officer to oversee and inspect construction activities at project sites. The role involves monitoring site operations ensuring compliance with design specifications safety standards quality control procedures and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying non-conformities ensuring corrective actions and maintaining thorough site documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings technical specifications and project standards.
Monitor construction work for quality assurance material conformity workmanship and safety practices.
Identify and document deviations from construction plans or specifications and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure that all inspection and testing activities are completed and properly documented.
Coordinate with site engineers contractors and quality control teams for ongoing inspections and approvals.
Verify that materials used on-site meet required specifications and standards.
Maintain detailed inspection logs photographs and reports for audits and project documentation.
Report any unsafe practices violations or incidents to relevant stakeholders and ensure immediate rectification.
Participate in pre-commissioning and handover inspections with client or regulatory bodies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Technology or a related field.
3 5 years of site inspection or site supervision experience in real estate or building construction.
Strong knowledge of finishing works quality checks and material standards.
Familiarity with local building codes real estate norms and RERA guidelines (if applicable).
Ability to read and interpret civil architectural and MEP drawings.
Good reporting and communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficient in MS Office and basic project documentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-rise or township projects.
Certification in QA/QC Safety or Construction Supervision.
Knowledge of green building standards or smart home technology is a plus.
