Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Sr. Fullstack Engineer (Slack and Jira) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean reusable and maintainable code across the technology stack.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop solutions that align with business objectives.
- Contribute to and maintain technical documentation such as system designs and API contracts to ensure shared team understanding.
- Lead and participate in code reviews ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.
- Develop and enforce coding standards best practices and design principles across the engineering team.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize system reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies evaluating their potential impact and adoption.
- Act as a technical mentor for junior and mid-level engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical roadmaps.
- Solve complex technical challenges related to performance scalability and security.
- Aid in the product team to design features from concept through production including instrumentation monitoring and iterative improvement based on usage and feedback.
- Identify and advocate for improvements to developer experience such as tooling CI/CD workflows or onboarding processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure engineering solutions meet business needs and provide a great user experience.
- Support a culture of accountability and shared ownership by participating in incident reviews and reliability initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Five or more years of full stack software development in a Saas or technology-driven environment.
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (Angular React or Vue).
- Strong front end experience (HTML CSS and JavaScript).
- Strong back-end / API experience (.NET Core).
- Deep understanding of SQL databases and data modeling best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile framework and methodologies.
- A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
Essential Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong time management and multitasking skills balancing multiple projects and priorities.
