Consisting of three key brands - FASTEN Packaging Orchard Custom Beauty and Roberts Beauty - IBG helps businesses create quality beauty products. From concept and design to getting products on shelves and online we can support retailers brands and wholesalers with everything they need to get ready for retail.
We are currently looking for Senior Accountant who will report to our Finance Director and will be a critical mid-level finance professional responsible for managing complex accounting functions ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable and receivable payroll and inventory accounting.
Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant accounting standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries account reconciliations and balance sheet maintenance.
Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis providing actionable insights to senior management.
Develop and maintain financial models to assist in business planning and strategic initiatives.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
Supervise mentor and develop junior accounting staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Collaborate with external auditors tax advisors and other partners to facilitate audits and tax compliance.
Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Assist the Finance Director with ad hoc financial analysis reporting and special projects.
Job requirements
ABOUT YOU:
Degree in accounting Finance or related field
4-7 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and internal controls.
Knowledge of NetSuite ERP is a must
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
