Job Description Summary
The Academic and Career Advisor is responsible for providing complete organizational information and services to students across several disciplines including the enrollment process academic advising career exploration and international students using the Appreciative Advising Model. Additionally to include but are not limited to guiding students career exploration planning and class selection case management of assigned students and retention alerts.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in higher education student personnel/services education psychology human resources or related field required Minimum of three years full-time experience in the professional area or related experience Experience in counseling psychology or related field with an adult population Masters preferred in higher education student personnel/services education psychology human resources or related field Experience with advising students on academic and career related issues.
