Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Shift Lead to join our team in Oak Harbor United States. As a Shift Lead you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations managing team members and ensuring exceptional customer service during your assigned shifts.
- Supervise and coordinate team members during assigned shifts to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate and maintain all equipment including cash registers and food preparation tools
- Manage inventory stock levels and complete associated paperwork
- Process customer orders accurately both in-person and over the phone
- Train and mentor new team members on proper procedures and company policies
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist in creating staff schedules and managing shift changes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with management to implement new procedures and improve overall performance
- Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications :
- Must be AGE years of age or older
- Prior experience in quick service restaurants (QSR) or retail is highly desired
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in basic math and cash handling
- Ability to operate computer systems including point-of-sale terminals and inventory management software
- Physical ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions including standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a collaborative attitude
