Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the North East region of the United States. As a key member of our software development team you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications
- Identify document and track bugs using bug tracking systems
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality
- Analyze test results and generate detailed test reports
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with bug tracking systems preferably JIRA
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Java or Python
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
- Experience with version control systems particularly Git
Additional Information :
Salary: Salary range is dependent on scope of work location of project as well as level of experience. This range could fall anywhere between $120k - $175k
