The work location of this role is hybrid meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in San Francisco Mountain View or Sunnyvale.
In this role we are looking for a savvy communications professional to drive our U.S. consumer communication program focused on helping people leverage LinkedIn as part of their professional lives. This person will be responsible for consumer storytelling tied to the latest cultural trends driving the world of work. The candidate must have an appetite for creative storytelling and do so across traditional emerging and owned content.
This person will be responsible for NAMER Consumer Communications which works hand in hand with LinkedIn senior executives and the top-tier press to help professionals leverage LinkedIn. This includes advising and activating executive online presence speaking engagements and media opportunities. This person will also be responsible for opportunistic and large scale communications programs support peers with consumer storytelling across the business . This person will be involved in all stages of the consumer communications initiatives -- from concept formulation cross-functional planning message development media relationships owned content strategy execution and results-oriented reporting and must be a good collaborator and exhibit a strong work ethic.

Minimum 9 years of experience in Communications Marketing Journalism or related experience AND 3 years of experience in External Communications or Social Media OR Bachelors Degree in Business Communications Marketing Journalism or related field AND minimum 6 years of experience in Communications Marketing Journalism or related experience AND 3 years of experience in External Communications or Social Media

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $148000 to $233000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
