Job Description

Were recruiting for a Claims Team Manager to join us. Were offering a competitive base salary up to 50000 dependant on experience. 

Are you an experienced leader who thrives on developing people and delivering excellent customer outcomes Were looking for a Claims Team Manager to lead a team in providing a proactive and compassionate claims service. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative and inclusive environment where your leadership will help shape the future of our Group Protection Claims team.

    What youll be doing:

    • Leading and supporting a team of Claims Specialists to deliver high-quality service
    • Managing recruitment development and performance to build a capable and engaged team
    • Overseeing the assessment and authorisation of claims within agreed authority limits
    • Collaborating with clients and advisers to promote our claims philosophy
    • Monitoring performance data and responding to trends to meet service targets
    • Ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
    • Driving continuous improvement in processes systems and customer experience
    • Championing a culture of fairness inclusion and accountability across the team

    Qualifications :

    Who were looking for:

    • Experience managing people and leading teams in a customer-focused environment
    • Strong knowledge of Group Protection products and claims processes
    • Excellent communication analytical and decision-making skills
    • Understanding of relevant legislation such as GDPR Equality Act and DWP benefits
    • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement
    • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance practices
    • A commitment to fairness integrity and delivering good customer outcomes
