Job Description
Pay Rate: $27.01 per hour
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain required records reporting in writing any uncorrected mechanical/electrical defects and replacement parts to the supervisor.
- Assist in performing all phases of maintenance including electrical mechanical systems (i.e. fabricating welding troubleshooting repairing installing and performing required preventative maintenance).
- Other duties as assigned including general cleaning and/or assisting other Crews if required and the following:
- Coordinating equipment downtime services and problems with area operators.
- Detecting potential mechanical/electrical problems and planning for repairs.
Qualifications :
- 2-4 years of production equipment maintenance experience.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have ability to lead and train lower-level maintenance personnel.
- Must be able to: work in high places climb ladders and stairs work from ladders/scaffolds work in pits and silos (confined spaces).
- Bend kneel and walk frequently.
- Move heavy objects and lift 50 lbs.
- Must be familiar with all phases of maintenance including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Must have knowledge of mill flow patterns dry as well as liquid.
- Be familiar with proper lubricating technique for all mill equipment.
- Be able to perform routine services and troubleshoot and repair all mill equipment.
- Be able to weld and fabricate to repair all mill equipment and installation of new equipment as needed.
- Be able to make decisions and judgments on an ongoing basis.
- Be able to work weekends holidays and overtime as needed and able to show up on time and as scheduled.
