Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer to join a transformative giga-project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with local and international health safety and environmental standards across large-scale construction and infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Monitoring
Conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA NEBOSH ISO and Company safety standards.
Supervise the handling storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Hazard Identification & Risk Control
Perform risk assessments and job hazard analysis (JHA).
Recommend and implement preventive and control measures.
Training & Awareness
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Develop and lead HSE training sessions for staff and subcontractors.
Policy & Compliance
Draft and implement occupational health and safety (OHS) policies.
Act as the company representative for all regulatory HSE matters.
Incident Management
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain accurate safety records and incident logs.
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and test emergency response procedures.
Ensure staff are trained and emergency equipment is maintained.
Reporting & Analytics
Track safety KPIs prepare HSE reports and maintain documentation.
Support audits and ensure data integrity across systems.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Engineering or related field
NEBOSH IG1 & IG2 Certification (Required)
ISO 45001:2018 Certified Auditor
OSHA 30-hour (General Industry)
PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
Minimum 510 years of HSE experience in construction infrastructure or oil & gas projects
Strong familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements and ARAMCO HSE standards preferred
