Job Description
If youre a patient-focused Dental Nurse looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and professional environment look no further than Occudental Dental Practice in Sheffield. We will also consider applications for a Trainee Dental Nurse.
- Hours available - 33.5 hours per week.
- Typical working hours are Mondays 8:30am - 7:30pm Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am - 6:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 2pm
We are a well established dentist in Sheffield that offers an extensive range of treatments in the main areas of dentistry: Dental Implants Orthodontics Cosmetic Dentistry General Dentistry as well as Anti-Ageing treatments.

About you as a Qualified Dental Nurse

- Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- A positive attitude empathy and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
- Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues and providing exceptional standards of care.

About you as a Trainee Dental Nurse
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being are passionate about delivering great service and looking for a career where you can learn grow and develop then this could be a perfect fit for you.
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist hygienist or therapist in all procedures
