The VDP Formatter is responsible for creation and verification of data processed thru the format program for production. This position is also responsible for the creation of associated data production paperwork. The VDP Formatter will manage the Live Data Files within the Front End environment and release them to Production. High standards of quality control procedures must be strictly adhered to. This position interfaces with internal and external personnel in order to gather access and clarify client data verification information.
Responsible for creation and verification of data processed for production including order quantities production log and all associated materials.
Manage Live Data Files within the Front End environment.
Support production in problem resolution concerning data files.
Support VDP team members in cross functional tasks as required to process orders.
Coordinate and prioritize orders within department.
Special production services required for clients data processing requests including special reports test files creation of production signoff and sample files.
Analyze instructions provided per Client OPI Supplement Additional Imaging Instruction along with VDP Specialist checklist to extract required records to create both Client and Internal Signoff Files.
Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent in education and work experience. College credits in Data Processing and Communications or combination of education and similar work related experience desired. Should possess good math spelling grammar and typing skills.
Knowledge of plant and department policies procedures organization and printing industry practices are required for efficient interfacing with internal/external customers performing job functions and maintaining established quality standards.
Must have the ability to interpret internal/external written/verbal communication to ensure accurate completion of file formatting which will meet the customers job requirements. Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
Must have problem solving skills in determining the possible causes and corrective action for correcting discrepancies in customer orders.
Must be able to make recommendations on the acceptability of customer data and determine possible liabilities as well as resolution to problems with customer order on a daily basis.
Additional Information :
**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.00-$22.44 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location. In addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
