FESCO Director of Social Media & Digital Marketing
For the past six decades The FESCO Group has become is a top international manufacturer of consumer electronics with over 3000 products and 15 leading brands... including Car & Driver Perry Ellis ChargeWorx Epilady and Coby Audio.
We are now looking to aggressively build up our digital marketing and social media capabilities. More specifically we have just launched a disruptive product that will revolutionize the personal care industry and need a hands-on expert to create awareness a grassroot buzz and launch a breakthrough product .
Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer and Head of Personal Care our new Director of Social Media & Digital Marketing will develop implement and oversee our long-term digital marketing strategy and short-term advertising techniques (on key digital platforms). This role requires enhancing brand / product awareness driving traffic to the companys website (including stand-aloneDTC brand websites) developing and executing social media strategies and generating B2B and eCommerce sales.
(Thispositionis a fully onsite role at our East Williamsburgh / Brooklyn NY office. Additionally we unfortunately do not have the budget for this position to relocate candidates to our area nor sponsor any necessary work visas.)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set digital marketing strategies using all necessary methodsand instruments: brand websites emails social media (TikTok Facebook Instagram Twitter Google/YouTube) SEO Optimization Google Analytics podcasts vlogs blogs etc...)
- Createa unique social strategy (paid / organic) across all digital platforms with the goal of driving meaningful social media engagement increasing brand and product awareness and generating significant audience growth
- Will drive creative strategy and lead the team in developing edgyand creative content that embodies our brands voice storylines value and overall aesthetic
- Develop monthly content calendars inclusive of all key product launches culturally relevant moments and branded content series (all platforms)
- Propose real-time content based on social media trends and relevant trending conversations
- Continuously improve content concepts by analyzing performance metrics (KPIs) evaluating ROI assessingcompetitors social and digital landscape and embracing the latest features across various digital platforms
- Optimize the user experience on the companys websites and assisting with the landing page creation
- Researching and tracking consumer purchase behavior
- Hands-on position there are no direct reports
Minimum Qualifications
- BA in digital marketing marketing advertising or related discipline
- At least 5 years of recent and expert knowledge of social media digital marketing digital content creation and brand marketing withinthe consumer products Beauty industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
- Possesses strong project management skills managingmultiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as ability to present and explain technical and business information in a way that establishes rapport persuades others and gains understanding
- Must have a high degree of motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting social listening and digital analytics
