Job Description
AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full -Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple Bronx residences.
DATE & TIME: THURSDAY JULY 24th from 10AM-1PM
LOCATION: Recruiter will provide the specific address of the Hiring Event for qualified candidates.
POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
40HR Evening shift: 3pm-11pm.
Drivers license and Weekend Availability Required for most positions!
PAY RATE: $17 - $19.36 per hour depending on residence placement and driving status. Please note $17 hire-in rates will be increased to $18 per hour after 6 months if in good standing. In addition this position comes with a very comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development interests and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking cleaning hygiene etc.
Qualifications :
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support peoples preferences for community activities work leisure activities the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED highly preferred.
