- Receives and follows maintenance schedule/instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Performs specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments including performing all electrical preventative maintenance as well as all repairs on electrical equipment fixtures controls public address and access systems and all related auxiliary equipment as directed and installing all electrical equipment fixtures controls wiring etc. as directed.
- Recommends changes to the electrical system and/or equipment in keeping with the current codes and standards.
- Assists as directed in the repair preventative maintenance maintenance and/or installation of electric/electronic controls devices etc. and performs or directs the testing/repair of emergency generators fire alarms throughout the campus.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Minimum of three (3) years electrical experience in health care extended care multifamily dwellings or similar facilities.
- Journeymans license preferred
