Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) Up to 27000 Full-Time

Our client a welcoming and well-regarded nursery rated Good by Ofsted is looking for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their nurturing team. Set within a charming converted Victorian house on a leafy residential street this is a unique opportunity to work in a truly special environment that combines character calm and creativity.

The nursery offers large airy rooms tailored to different age groups and a spacious garden that provides daily opportunities for outdoor learning exploration and play. This role is ideal for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner who is ready to bring their energy ideas and knowledge of the EYFS into a collaborative and child-centred environment. Youll play a vital part in helping children build confidence form friendships and discover the world through creative play-based learning.

What Youll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A kind proactive and patient approach to working with young children
  • A commitment to equality inclusion and creating a safe learning environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate engaging activities that inspire curiosity and development
  • Build trusting supportive relationships with children and their families
  • Observe assess and record childrens progress adapting learning plans to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with your team to maintain a safe stimulating and welcoming environment
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures at all times
  • Contribute to the warm inclusive culture of the nursery through positive communication and teamwork
