Job Description and Responsibilities
Interpro Pipe & Steel is seeking an experienced Inventory Finance Manager to oversee and coordinate inventory control processes across all Canadian sites. Based in Regina this key role ensures accurate and timely month-end reporting and drives best practices in inventory management across a complex production and manufacturing environment.
- Ensure monitoring and accurate inventory levels for all Canadian Operation sites are being followed and maintained
- Problem solving improvements and innovations
- Demonstrate the importance of integrity
- Managing administration of internal product pricing and setups shipping posting workflows and sales orders
- Regular monitoring of inventory systems for variances and processing corrections
- Supervising Inventory and Scrap Yard clerks
- Assist in auditing inventory and providing external auditors information as requested
- Maintain excellent working relationships with internal departments fostering effective communication.
- Assist other team members to complete projects/assignments.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Finance/Business/Accounting is preferred combined with 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing industry
- Previous inventory management experience preference given to candidates with knowledge of steel pipe and plate experience
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong computer skills proficient in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook Kronos and Oracle
- Ability to communicate technical information
- Ability to travel within North America is required
