As a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist youll provide high-touch inpatient care while building meaningful connections with your patients and communityall backed by the clinical strength and support of the Allina Health system.Key Position Details:
This role offers the autonomy of small-town hospital care with the full backing of Allinas system-wide supportdesigned to let you thrive professionally while staying deeply connected to your community.
Location: Faribault Minnesota a historic tight-knit community offering easy access to the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro.
Schedule: day/evening typical 7 on 7 off
Team Environment: Join a collaborative experienced hospitalist group with seamless system-wide support.
Patient Volume: Average of 1316 daily encounters allowing for focused relationship-based care.
Night Coverage: Telehealth team provides overnight coverage ensuring manageable workloads and 24/7 care continuity.
Role Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary attending physician for inpatient medical care.
Review medical histories and develop individualized care plans.
Partner with patients and families in making informed care decisions.
Work closely with nurses specialists and care teams to coordinate care.
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and clinical excellence.

Job Description:

Job Requirements
MD DO or foreign equivalency training required.
BE/BC with ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.
Active non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges if applicable
ACLS/BLS - required within 180 days of hire
Faribault Medical Center offers a full complement of inpatient and outpatient services including medical oncology cardiology general and orthopedic surgery cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation diagnostic imaging emergency care nutrition services OB/ gyn OT/ PT sports medicine speech therapy laboratory services and many tele-health services.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $337400 to $353100 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to your experience education and the union agreement (if applicable).Benefit Summary
