Student Services Officer Adelaide Campus

University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) has partnered with the Education Centre of Australia (ECA) opening a new campus in Adelaide in 2024 located at 182 Victoria Square. The campus offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across a number of disciplines.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Student Services Officer to be part of our team at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) campus in Adelaide. As a key member of the team you will have the rewarding opportunity to progress your career within the education industry. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and is self-motivated and an enthusiastic go-getter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reception duties as required
  • Provide advice to students and complete administrative tasks associated with the student life cycle
  • Support student experience throughout the student lifecycle
  • Provide advice to students and complete administrative tasks associated with academic services
  • Support campus compliance and student retention
  • Participate in staff/student feedback and engagement
  • Lead student communications.

As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

  • Completion of a relevant degree or completion of a degree with relevant work experience
  • Relevant work experience in a Student Services Officer or Student Support role
  • Knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code of Practice and specifically how it pertains to the delivery of support to international students
  • Demonstrated experience in communications
  • Demonstrated experience in staff and student engagement
  • Strong team player able to negotiate and influence outcomes with colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with students and staff from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
