- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required DoD Clearance Required
- Clearance Requirements: Tier 1 Background Investigation National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check and fingerprints. (Standard Form 85).
- Estimated Pay: $41.00/hour (Negotiable)
- Type of Employment: 40 hours per week.

Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologist Assistant (RA) to join our imaging team. The RA is an advanced practice radiologic technologist who works under the supervision of a radiologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging tasks. This includes conducting patient assessments performing advanced imaging procedures administering contrast media and providing preliminary image evaluations. The RA plays a critical role in improving workflow efficiency enhancing patient care and supporting radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Completion of an ARRT-recognized Radiologist Assistant program
- Certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) by the ARRT
- State licensure (if applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy pathology imaging protocols and radiation safety
- Excellent communication critical thinking and patient care skills

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists in performing and managing advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
- Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient assessments and obtain relevant clinical history
- Perform fluoroscopic and other radiologic procedures as delegated by the supervising radiologist
- Administer contrast media and radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
- Evaluate image quality and provide preliminary observations to the supervising radiologist
- Communicate findings and procedural updates to referring physicians and care teams
- Educate patients about procedures risks and post-procedure care
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in quality assurance equipment maintenance and workflow improvement initiatives
