Position: Associate Veterinarian

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Houston TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to animals and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely with our team of experienced veterinarians to provide comprehensive medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions
- Perform surgeries including spays neuters and other soft tissue procedures
- Prescribe and administer medications as needed
- Educate clients on preventative care and treatment options for their pets
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with the rest of the veterinary team
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for our patients
- Stay current on industry developments and advancements in veterinary medicine
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
- Strong surgical and medical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for providing exceptional care to animals
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
