JOB SUMMARY
The Production Control Specialist II is responsible for order planning/scheduling and the creation of purchase requisitions to maintain adequate and accurate in-stock levels and the control of these levels required to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
DUTIES/RESULTS
DIMENSION
Responsible for order handling/scheduling and initiating purchase orders and following up on work-in-progress to ensure conformance to schedule and customer demand. Must be team oriented and dedicated to total customer satisfaction. Must be responsible well organized and able to work with limited supervision adaptable to change and mature. Requires basic knowledge of all applicable products in order to properly define modification requirements and possibilities. Must be able to perform multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word Excel and PowerPoint.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: College undergraduate in business related fields or a minimum of 5 years experience in materials management and order planning/scheduling.
